Waitrose rolls out Zoe’s first-to-market daily whole food supplement

Science and nutrition company Zoe is launching a first-to-market daily whole food supplement exclusively in Waitrose stores.

The launch, which marks the start of a new partnership between the brands, roll out on 17 July.

According to Zoe, the Daily30+ is a savoury mix of seeds, herbs, nuts, legumes and functional mushrooms, formulated to provide the diversity of over 30 plants and introduce over 35 different types of fibre in one scoop.

Waitrose will stock a seven-day pack and a single serve pack of the product, which will be included in the upmarket retailer’s £5 food-to-go meal deal.

The supplement can be used in ways such as added to avocado and eggs for breakfast, or sprinkled on a salad or pasta.

For Waitrose, the new partnership forms past of its wider health ambition to make it easier for customers to make healthy choices.

Waitrose commercial director Charlotte Di Cello said: “We are delighted to be saying hello to Zoe in Waitrose, starting with this exclusive launch. Our partnership enables us to tap into Zoe’s expertise, which is led by science, and helps our customers make healthy choices.

“This really is just the beginning of our new approach to health, watch this space for more next year.”

Zoe Daily30+ GM Sara Gordon added: “Through our partnership with Waitrose, we’re excited to help customers level up their lunches and enjoy delicious, healthy meals even when they’re on the go.

“Daily30+ packs more than 30 plants, and our clinical trial proves that it benefits energy, digestion, constipation, sleep and mood. Together with Waitrose we’re making it easier to build healthy habits, and hope people not only enjoy adding the Daily30+ to their favourite dishes, but feel great as a result.”

It follows on from Zoe’s partnership with M&S earlier this year, which saw the pair launching a new Gut Shot which includes over five billion live cultures from 14 strains of friendly bacteria, as well as being high in fibre and a source of calcium.
